Stigmata

The Christians in this country can be very vicious and unforgiving when they find out you’ve been making fun of their religion.

The country is in love with Little Saint Josephine of the Mancunian Way and her Stigmata. Even Tony Blair seeks her advice. But what will happen when the devilish Bishop Rappaccio turns up to check out her claims? Will he discover the truth that she has been forcing her best friend Dominic to hammer nails into her hands? Or will Jo be able to con him into believing her marks of Christ are real and so continue with her masterplan to change the world?

A dangerous, funny and anarchic new farce from award-winning Truant Company in association with The Drill Hall.

Drill Hall, London 14 - 25 June, 1 - 5 November, 15 - 25 November 2006

Unity Theatre, Liverpool 10 - 11 November 2006
